How Do You Get There?
The easiest way to get to the Bangkok Immigration Office is by taxi. We recommend using the Grab or Bolt app, but you can also request a taxi from your hotel or just wave one down from the street and tell them “Immigration Chaengwattana” or (“Dtor Mor Chaengwattana”).

If you’re coming from the city center, it should cost around 200-300 baht. Alternatively, you can take the sky train (SRT). The Dark Red Line until Lak Si station. There you exit through gate 3 and can go to the Government Complex Chaeng Wattana (you can walk, but it’s quite some distance. We recommend you either take a taxi or motorcycle taxi from the Lak Si station.)

It’s important to note that the waiting times at the Bangkok Immigration Office can be unpredictable. Therefore, it’s best to prepare for a potentially long wait.
Food & Coffee
There are plenty of food and coffee options available for purchase within the building. Just go to the lower floor where there are plenty of food stalls within one of the multiple food courts, as well as a multiple restaurants and coffee shops. The food is very affordable (typically 30 to 100 Baht per meal).
Banks
If you need cash, there are also multiple banks located on the premises, like the Bangkok Bank, Krungsri Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Islamic Bank of Thailand, Krungthai Bank, Government Housing Bank, plus ATMs of various other banks. They’re all located on the lower floor.
Running Zone
On the 3rd floor there’s an indoor running zone with a rubber floor where you can exercise. There are three separate lanes: for running, jogging, and walking. Each lap is 412 meters long. There are short-term lockers available too, and some basic gym equipment.
